The Municipality of Chania and the Economic FORUM of Delphi, within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement they have signed jointly with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), are organizing the first (1st) event in Chania, with the theme: “The OECD Center for the populations in Crete”.

The event will take place on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 17:00, at the Mediterranean Architecture Center (KAM-Megalo Arsenali, Katehaki Square), with the presence of the President of the Delphi Economic FORUM, Symeon Tsomokos and the Permanent Representative of the OECD & Emeritus Professor of Geopolitics at the Sorbonne, Giorgos Prevelakis.

The Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Maria Syreghela, will attend the conference as a representative of the President of the Greek Government, while greetings will be addressed by the Regional Governor of Crete, Stavros Arnautakis and the Mayor of Chania, Panagiotis Simandirakis.

In the scientific part of the event, entitled: “Greece and Crete at the center of population issues”, speeches will be held by:
