The New York Youth Symphony Orchestra (NYYS) comes to Chania for a unique performance at the Archaeological Museum, with a program that highlights the talent of the orchestra and offers a wonderful musical experience to the audience.
The evening, co-organized by the Ephorate of Antiquities of Chania, WorldStrides and the NYYS orchestra, and with the support of the Region of Crete and the Municipality of Chania, includes Tchaikovsky’s famous violin concerto in D major with soloist Jennifer Ahn, the Symphony no. 2 of Jean
The orchestra is conducted by Andrew J. Kim.
