The historic concert-without-spectators of PINK FLOYD in the Roman amphitheater of Pompeii. The film was released in 1971, with a duration of 60 minutes, but the screening will concern the director’s copy with a duration of 90 minutes and a release year of 2003 with additional material. The image is in 16:9 format while the sound will be DOLBY DIGITAL STEREO. The coincidence of this screening with the announcement of a new release with multi-channel sound comes to reinforce the importance of this tape as a milestone in the history of ROCK music. As RUTC, we reserve the right to present the multi-channel version, but this specific screening aims to bring the audience into contact with a different philosophy of sound production from another era.
