Oasis

Oasis Hotel is located 2,5 km from the centre of Chania, within a breathtaking garden of palm trees, orange trees and mandarin trees, making this a virtual oasis of tranquillity, pleasure and relaxation.

The hotel has a time – honoured, established history reaching back into the 16th century. It was constructed by the Venetians, comprising one of the foremost wealthy mansions of its era. Later, in the 17th century, the building was adapted, for a Turkish pasha’s residence.

With the passing of time, this historical building passed into Greek ownership, and was acquired by the Stratoudakis Family, who in turn refurbished it, converting it into a hotel in 1988.

Currently, Oasis comprises three buildings: the original structure, now renovated, and two further modern buildings.
