“Honoring Maria Callas”, Archaeological Museum of Chania, June 18 at 20:30
This year and as part of the “Maria Kallas” Year, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the universal Greek woman adored by the whole world, the State Orchestra of Athens sits “side by side” with the young colleagues from the Symphony Orchestra of the Youth of Crete Municipality Heraklion and presents a “spectacular” opera gala under the direction of Miltos Logiadis. Arias and duets from some of the most famous operas in the world repertoire (La Traviata, Tosca, Rigoletto, etc.).
This concert could not be realized without the undivided support of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Chania and the hospitable staff of the Archaeological Museum of Chania.
