EVENTS

  • The Kadinelia at the  Bras De Frères , 5th of March 2023

From the tradition of Greece to the whole world. This musical journey will be offered to us by Kadinelia at Bras De Frères.

A journey in which the timeless sounds of our country acquire a new character through the charismatic guitar melodies and the harmonious singing of the two musicians.

Kadinelia first came into contact in 2013, exchanging ideas and swapping sounds. In the spring of 2014, they reached the final form of their musical project: the enrichment of traditional Greek music with blues and rock elements. Their love for the artistic expression of their peoples soon led them to arrangements of traditional pieces from other countries as well.

Today their music consists of arrangements of traditional sounds, but also of original compositions by Thanasis and Evi. In the fall of 2019, the duo entered the studio. After a month of intensive recording they completed their first album, which was released in May 2020.

On stage, Kadinelia prove that with the right energy even small groups can offer a “full” concert experience. Their dedication and flawless presence on stage have earned them recognition, opening concert doors in all corners of Greece, but also abroad.

Fotini Velesiotou “Vinyl Laika” at Bras De Frères , 9th of March 2023

Against the times of alienation, Fotini Velesiotou invites her audience to Bras De Frères in Chania, to remember what it’s like to be in a big company. Like when everyone gathered in a living room to indulge in the sounds of a vinyl record.

With a program that honors good folk song, with some songs that are milestones in her discography but mostly well-known and beloved folk songs that have marked entire eras, she connects the past with the present and through the timelessness of the songs, her audience travels to the future .
