The Municipality of Chania and K.E.P.PE.DIH. – KAM organize a concert with the famous Texas A&M Singing Cadets, under the direction of David L. Kipp, in a delightful program of pieces from the entire spectrum of the American repertoire.

A few words about the choir.

The Singing Cadets were founded in 1893. Texas A&M University began as a military school and the choristers were originally cadets, but today the choir is open to all male students. The Emmy-winning format faithfully preserves the cheerful yet disciplined character of a chorus of uniformed cadets. Each of their appearances includes a wide range of repertoire. Over the past twenty years, the Singing Cadets have covered over 100,000 miles, performed 1,500 concerts and visited over 150 cities. The choir is often invited to perform on special occasions and in front of prominent personalities. The Singing Cadets have sung for every living President of the United States.
